To be ADA-complaint, each parking space has to be 8 feet in width for vans and a 5 feet in width access aisle that stretch the full length of the parking space. It is also imperative that the parking spaces give access to the building via a direct and short route. If there are curbs, then ramps are required that should not interject into the parking space and access aisle.
